    Bicarbonate of soda

Preparation: Chocolate Sticky Toffee

Bring the dates, water and bicarbonate of soda to the boil.

Reserve to one side and allow to cool.

    Caster sugar

Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy

Add the eggs to the butter and sugar, mix well

    Callebaut cocoa powder

Sieve the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder together.
Then fold through the cake mix.

Fold in the cooled date mixture and chocolate chunks. Pipe into individual moulds. Bake at 180°c for 20-30min
