On your pub menu

As the original casual dining experience, the pub channel continues to offer diners the quality, value and experience they love. While menus may have been updated to include more global influences and family-style sharing experiences, the enjoyment of a great pub dessert has not diminished! Operators still need to highlight their offering to maximise sales, however, as whilst 67% of dessert consumers have visited a pub in the last six months only half went on to actually order a dessert, proving there is a genuine opportunity for pubs to boost dessert sales.

In the pub channel, after a main course, consumers are equally as likely to order a starter and dessert, with a proportion also likely to order a post-meal hot drink. Offering a set menu incorporating these choices is a great way for pub operators to increase orders and drive value perception to customers.
