Jenny McCoy is an Academy Chef for the Callebaut Chocolate Academy in Chicago. She brings with her a distinguished career of over 25 years in pastry arts, product innovation, and culinary education.
Prior to joining Callebaut, Chef Jenny led pastry programs for several of the nation’s most renowned restaurants—including Blackbird, Charlie Trotter’s, Emeril’s, Tom Colicchio’s Craft, Marc Forgione, and the Hogsalt restaurant group—across Chicago, New Orleans, New York City, Las Vegas, and Paris.
A dedicated educator, she served as the Co-chair of the Center for Advanced Pastry Studies at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. Jenny has several digital baking courses on Craftsy, with an online subscriber base of over 250,000 students. She has developed consumer packaged goods for leading food and retail brands, including Crate & Barrel, Ben & Jerry’s, Starbucks, Vitamix, and the Almond Board of California.
Jenny served as a judge on the Food Network series Rewrapped and has made numerous national television guest appearances. She is the author of two celebrated cookbooks—Modern Eclairs and Desserts for Every Season, which was nominated for an International Academy of Culinary Professionals award. Her work has been featured across major television, digital, and print media outlets nationwide, such as the Cooking Channel, Discovery Channel, New York Times, Newsweek, People, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, Epicurious, The Kitchn, and Serious Eats.
