The Cocoa Horizons Foundation is a non-profit organisation supervised by the Swiss Federal Foundation Supervisory Authority, led by a board of directors including two directors appointed by Barry Callebaut and one independent, external director.
Its mission is to improve the livelihoods of cocoa farmers and their communities through the promotion of sustainable, entrepreneurial farming, improved productivity, and community development. By bundling the efforts of Callebaut and other customers in the Foundation, we can drive change together in the cocoa farming communities and scale our impact. The Foundation monitors the evolving needs of the farmer communities and targets its funds to activities that are most needed and generate a positive impact on farmer livelihoods.
The Cocoa Horizons Foundation is audited by an independent global audit firm, and also the premiums paid are verified independently to guarantee the fair allocation and effectiveness of your support.
