Halloween Chocolate Class at the Chicago CHOCOLATE ACADEMY™ center

To help area children get a head start on their candy collecting this Halloween and learn how to make a few treats of their own, Barry Callebaut will host a special "Halloween Chocolates" class at its CHOCOLATE ACADEMY™ center in Chicago.  During the class, which is open to children 8 years old and older and their parents, Chocolate Academy Chef Amanda Snouffer will share the secrets for making delicious Halloween-themed treats.

Specifically, class participants will learn how to make creepy chocolate spiders using plastic molds, how to make candy bars and how to hand dip chocolate lollipops.  Each parent and child team will take home their chocolate creations and will be given recipes that they can try on their own at home.

The class will take place at the Academy on Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 9 AM to 1 PM and the cost is $150 (includes one parent and one child).  To register for the class, consumers may call 1-866-443-0437.
